Hi, I’m Bobby!
I have been playing the guitar for over 30 years with experience in almost every style. I started off as rock-n-roll guitarist in my younger years, but then went to music school where I studied classical guitar. I fell in love with classical and went on to earn my Bachelor of Music degree in Guitar Performance from Mercer University.
After college, I got back into electric guitar and studied rock, fusion, and jazz with an emphasis on improvisation. I eventually found my way back to classical guitar though, and have settled on a mixture of classical, gypsy jazz, and other acoustic guitar styles.
In addition to developing my own skills as a player, I have a deep passion for composing, arranging, and teaching. I currently own and operate The Halls of Music alongside my wife, where we teach private music lessons, freelance for weddings and other special events, and I compose and arrange music.
